Book Report Scrapbooks

This is a book report scrapbook that my son did in the 4th grade!!  They had to pick someone in history that they admired!!!  He has always had a fascination with Abraham Lincoln and the summer before we had gone to Washington, D.C.

So conveniently, we had a few photos of him with "Abraham Lincoln" that we could include!!

While we were in DC, he was constantly looking for statues and  pictures of Abraham!!  He was a hoot!!

What a great person for your child to admire!!!  Abraham had many great accomplishments!!

Of course, his favorite part of the trip was visiting the Lincoln Memorial!!  So much so, that he hugged the one of the big pillars!!!

For his book report, we used a 6 by 6 scrapbook.  The outside cover wasn't what we wanted so we recovered it with scrapbook paper!!

We used tags to document the milestones in Abraham's life!!

And of course, we used lots of red, white, and blue!!!

He did such a great job on this report, that he recieved an "A"!!!  Great job!!!
