Oh the dreaded broken bones!!!

The Lego Store!!!

Ice skating is so funny!!  My boys and I are not very good at it!!  My husband, on the other hand, is pretty good!!

Cleaning and redoing his room was so exciting!!

Boy Scouts!!

This photo (to the right) is pretty special because it has 4 generations of family!!

This is his greatest passion right now!!  Playing the snare drum specifically!!  They are the best band in the land!!

He decided to spend a night with us and the Cub Scouts for our annual "Cardboard Campout".  We did this around Christmas time!!  Every family or group made there own house out of cardboard and decorated with Christmas lights and anything else they could come up with.  We had the local firefighters come and judge to find the winners!!  It was inside where it was warm, but everyone had a great time!!  We slept in our "house" and woke up in the morning to open presents!!

Well, I hope you have enjoyed another week in the life of "me"!!  I'm just an ordinary girl just trying to make a living.  Scrapbooking being my passion!!

Day 6-My Oldest Son's Scrapbook Pages

Only today and tomorrow left of the 7 days of my oldest son's scrapbook layouts!!!

This is the annual Pumpkin Run car show located in Owensville, Ohio!!

CJ received this memory card of Matt Moppin (sp?) at a parade and just got so attached to it!!  He kept it in his bible and got it out and looked at it often.  We explained some of the details to him about the situation, but not all.  He just was so touched by this little memory card, that I had to do some pages about it!!

We had a huge storm one year on July 4th.  We weren't home at the time because we were at a parade, but we came home to a neighborhood of mess!!  Both of our neighbors on either side of us had it much worse than we did, but trees were down everywhere.  We had to spend weeks helping clean up our yard and our neighbors.

Newport Aquarium!!  We had a great time with the birds!!  They really liked me for some reason!!

This was the boys Sunday school teacher, Mrs. Ruth.  She was the sweetest lady!!

The carnival at the park.  Medieval theme.  This dragon I got off a cereal box, not sure if it's acid free or not, but it's lasted a few years anyway!!

Day 4-My Oldest Son's Scrapbook Pages

More of my oldest son's scrapbook pages!!!

These pages were really tricky because the spider web was so hard to do!!!  But I love it!!

Brothers just having a good time playing in a Bob the Builder tent!!

This is by far my most favorite layout of all time!!  We had a special place that we used to walk to at a neighbors property.  We had the best of times there, and I tried to make this layout look like the property the best I could, and I think it looks just like it!!

OH, Daytona Beach, I am so ready to go back!!!

This was grandparents day at daycare!!  My mom came as CJ guest!!  It was so cute!!

Nothing was funner in the summertime than washing mommy's car!!!  They were great helpers!!

This is one of my favorite places to go, Whitwell, Tennessee!!  This is my husband's side of the family's land, but I love it!!  There is no place in the world that I feel more at home!!  It is just beautiful on the farm!!

Day 2- My Scrapbook Pages of My Oldest Son

In honor of my oldest son's 16th birthday, I am sharing pages from some of his scrapbooks that I have created for him.  I hope you enjoy and get lots of inspiration for your own scrapbooks!!!

I love looking back at the way I used to scrapbook!!!  When I first started I did just one page layouts!!  It took a little while until I "graduated" to two page layouts!!  Lol!!

Oh, how he loved the outdoors!!  Actually, he still loves the outdoors!!

His first birthday party!!!!  Yay, he is one!!!

These were an impromptu moment!!  I went to Kroger to pick something up and these photo people were there doing photos!!  How convenient!!  And CJ was actually sick, but you can't really tell!!

This is when we first got our dog, Cheyenne!!  She is now 13 years old and going strong!!  I love how he carried her around!!

My Oldest Son's Scrapbook Pages

In honor of my oldest son's 16th birthday, I am sharing scrapbook pages from his scrapbooks for 7 days!!

I was in my 37th week and went in for my checkup.  The doctor examined me and told me I was 4 centimeters dilated.  I was not expecting that!!!  She went on to tell me that if I experienced headaches or continued bleeding to call right away.  I didn’t hear much of that because I was still trying to digest the fact the I was dilated with 3 weeks left, I thought.  I went home that evening and started having mild contractions.  By morning I had a splitting headache and was still bleeding.  My mom paged the doctor on call at 6am.  He said everything was fine.  Later that afternoon, the headache had worsened so much that I could barley stand.  We called the doctor again and they scheduled me an appointment.  I went in and the nurse checked my vitals.  Then she ran to get he doctor.  The doctor came in a minute later and said that I needed to get to the hospital right away.  My blood pressure was 170/100, and they needed to induce labor.  Wow!!  I was on my way to the hospital that was only 5 minutes away.  As soon as we arrived, my mom called Cory at work to let him know the news.  He came as quick as he could.  They induce labor at 2:30pm, and notified me that I had toxemia and with my blood pressure being so high, mine and the baby’s life were threatened.

The delivery went great!!  The baby and I were both fine.  CJ had a little trouble keeping his body temperature the same, but after the first night, he had managed to maintain it on his own.

I, on the other hand, was still having trouble with my blood pressure.  They had me on a special IV to keep me from having a seizure if it got too high.  They also had to keep checking that the swelling in my legs was lessening because of the toxemia.  I had to spend 5 days in the hospital which meant Cory’s 21st birthday party had to be at the hospital.  We had 2 cakes and ice cream that we shared with all the nurses!!

Continued-Last Day of My Scrapbook Layouts of My Youngest Son

This will be the last day of the week of sharing some scrapbook layouts of my son's scrapbook albums!!  Maybe I'll do more later in the year, we'll see!!  I hope you have enjoyed this week of a sneak peek in the the life of me!!  I have really enjoyed sharing them with you!!  I hope I have given you lots of ideas for your own scrapbooks!!  Or maybe even inspired you to take more photos!!  Either way, I hope I have helped you in some way!!  Please share my blog with friends and family that you think will enjoy it also!!  Thanks so much!!  Remember to continue to visit as I will be posting frequently!!  In a week or so, I'll be doing these layouts again for my other son's birthday!!

These were professional shots at a local photography company!!

This was our "Cake Auction" for Cub Scouts!!  We usually raised anywhere from $400-$800 dollars in about an hour!!  Great fundraiser!!

The annual Pinewood Derby Race!!  Always a good time!!  My son has a goal each year to win the "Best of Show" trophy!!  He did 3 years in a row!!  His first year he won that and the first place trophy for the races!!  We were all excited!!

Fishing with Dad!!  As you can see, he's laying down on the job!!  I don't think fishing is his thing!!  Great photos, though!!

Life at the beach!!!  One of our favorite places!!

More professional photos!!  This time of the whole family!!  Love these photos!!!

This was an awsome show, the "Balloon Glow" show at Coney Island last year!!

This was his school photo from this school year, and a note from me.  He also wrote a goal for himself on this page, which was "get contacts"!!  Lol!!  That's all he wanted!!  Well, he got them in January!!
